• Teen Aids Task Force of Oriskany Central School will be sponsoring an American Red Cross Blood Drive at the Oriskany Village Library on June 9, from 8-12.  The American Red Cross has made us aware that there is a great need for blood in our hospitals and with your donation you may also help an Oriskany student receive  a scholarship.

 Mr. Davis
The students at NA Walbran ended their year-long "Action Heroes Take Action.  Be an Action Hero" theme by becoming heroes!    
At an assembly held on Thursday, students, parents and faculty donated ponytails and money to two organizations "Locks of Love" and "Pantene Beautiful Lengths."   Money was raised by selling raffle tickets for a chance to shave a faculty members' head or cuttin the ponytail off a faculty.    They raised $100 to be donated.   Thank you to the following students for donating ponytails: Avery Roberts, Shelby Cushman, and Savannah Cushman.  KhaiLee Worn donated a ponytail before the assembly.  Thank you to parents Mrs. LaGasse and Ms. Cappelli and to the following faculty members for participating: Mr. Davis, Mr. Tuttle, Mr. Donohue, Mrs. Mahler, Ms. Waskiewicz and Ms. Hinderling.   Also thank you to our hairdressers Mrs. Sebastian and Mrs. Combs for donating their time.
After the  assembly students participated in a Mini-Relay for Life to benefit the high school's Team Oriskany who will be participating in American Cancer Society's Relay for Life on June 4-5 in Rome.    The PreK-3 elementary students made a poster for their tent and walked to raise money.   Students in grades 4-6 participated in a Puzzle-Walk Challenge.  All the students helped to raised $75 for the team.   Thank you to the members of Team Oriskany's Relay Team who came to our school to volunteer their time and assist in all our activities.
