The Oriskany Central School recognizes an obligation to avoid discrimination in policies and practices regarding personnel and students. A student may qualify for 504 accommodations if he/she has a mental or physical impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities. If, as a result of the student’s mental or physical impairment, he/she is substantially limited in accessing the educational environment or school related activities, 504 accommodations are provided until they are able to do so. Accommodations may be curricular or physical and are determined on a case by case basis after the determination of the individual student’s needs.
