• On November 15, tenth grade students from Oriskany Jr./Sr. High School had the opportunity to go on group tours to explore a variety of possible career fields. To prepare for the visits, each student completed a survey about their interests and then were divided into four groups -- animal science, health science, engineering and law enforcement -- based on their results. The groups of students visited job sites that related to their career interests, including Marcy Veterinary Clinic, APEX Surgical Center, TECT Power and Oneida County Emergencies Services.

The tours were coordinated by the Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES School and Business Alliance and the Oriskany Jr./Sr. High School Office of Counseling and Career Services.
