• Oriskany Jr./Sr. High School students continued to work on their Student Engagement Projects during the recent half-day on March 15.

Throughout the course of several group-work days, the Student Engagement Project is encouraging students to focus on their interactions with their peers and the process of learning rather than the end-product itself. As each group explores an area of interest outside of the traditional school curriculum, students are gaining valuable skills and experiences that will help prepare them for higher education and careers.

Student Engagement Project topics include acting/drama, coding, coloring books/board games, construction, cooking, dance, debate, engineering, fitness, gardening, hiking, music, painting, sporting activities and writing.

During the Student Engagement Project work day on March 15, each group also worked on planning how they would present their project to the rest of the Jr./Sr. High School for final presentations on May 18.
