• Oriskany students in the Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES Regional Program for Excellence (RPE) presented about the knowledge they gained from their internships during the Spring Recognition Ceremony on May 1.

RPE offers selected high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to explore career options through a summer or school year internship of 72-75 hours. The School Year Session begins in October and runs for 24 weeks concluding in early April. Students are excused from school for half a day each week (three hours) to meet with mentors.

RPE staff design an individual program for each participant to meet unique interests and needs. An RPE experience helps students make more focused academic and career plans - saving time and money at the college level.
