Migrant Education
The Migrant Education Program (MEP) is a federal Title I program that supports education of children of migrant workers. The monies are used to support programs that expand and improve services to address the special needs of migrant children. Such services include educational and support services for migrant youths, including instruction in reading, writing, mathematics content areas, and English as a second language. These services are offered during the summer and regular school year.
