Mrs. Mann graduated from Oriskany Central School District in 1989. She earned her BS in biology from Utica College, MS in Reading Education from SUNY Cortland, and completed a Leadership Academy at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts.  Mrs. Mann has considered it a privilege to spend the past 24 years teaching science at Oriskany Central School, and wants everyone to know that “her chemistry students matter,” and she loves having “phun” with her physics students. She has also enjoyed many “Gr8” science 8 students in the past and has also enjoyed preparing teams for a variety of academic competitions including Odyssey of the Mind, Double Down, Envirothon, and AFRL Challenge. Mrs. Mann is a NYS Master Teacher and considers that her active participation in many professional associations such as the Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES Regional Curriculum Development Committee, the Central NY Physics Alliance Network, the Science Teachers Association of NYS,  AFRL Summer Internship program, and American Association of Chemistry Teachers is important to providing her with  opportunities to continuously grow, support her colleagues and improve educational opportunities for students. Currently, Mrs. Mann is working to achieve National Board Certification.
